A look back at the concept for The Getaway.

A sensory garden begins with a simple intention, to create a moment of escape. For Project TG, the concept was shaped around this idea - designing a space that restores through feeling, through light that calms, materials that ground, scent that lingers and sound that soothes. A setting that invites people to pause, gather and reconnect with themselves and with one another.

We were guided by a timeless belief:
“Somewhere in every garden, there must be at least one spot, a quiet garden seat, in which a person — or two people — can reach into themselves and be in touch with nothing else but nature.”
— A Pattern Language, 1977

London, Cafe - Our brief was to design a contemporary café with a contemporary aesthetic — a space that feels uplifting, inspiring, and good for mental wellbeing.

More than just a coffee shop, it functions as a co-working space and transforms in the evenings for events, networking, and poetry.

Our approach is rooted in craftsmanship and culture. We celebrate the imperfection of the hands, working with local, hand-made techniques to create a space that’s flexible, conscious, and memorable.
