Reminiscing about a wonderful Fora Travel London gathering last week, a lovely excuse to chat all things travel, making new connections and seeing familiar faces too.

As always, it was great to co-host the day with Simona Hotel Consultancy with whom I co-represent Fontenille Collection in Europe, but also Matthew from L’Oscar London 😊

I also loved the conversations around what makes Monteverdi Tuscany, Fagerholm Private Island, Maison Bauchart and This is Kompass memorable.

Brilliant company, very good food and, rather perfectly, a glimpse of the eclipse.

Special thanks the L’Oscar London team for feeding us so well and looking after us so wonderfully.

A lovely day yesterday with fellow reps and some brilliant travel partners, all talking private islands and wildly different definitions of escape.

Very happy to see Serena and Fagerholm Private Island in such good company.

For those unfamiliar with it: a former Finnish coast guard island turned intimate private retreat in the Turku archipelago, and about as far from cookie-cutter luxury as one can get.

Not my finest photos and videos admittedly, but I suppose that’s what happens when one is too busy enjoying the day.

Special thanks to the wonderful team at One Aldwych for hosting us so beautifully (and feeding us extremely well).
