We often celebrate success, family and love. But we rarely talk about the friendships that hold us together when everything else falls apart. This is a conversation about why these bonds matter more than we sometimes realise. It’s about allowing ourselves to be “selfish” and crucially being allowed to be “selfish”. Wise Sarbari, who has Adenocarcinoma of the Pancreas stage 4, has figured this out for all of us. Thanks Sarbari!

When Sarbari Sen was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she made a decision,"I'm not going to die every day. When death comes, I'll die only once."
This isn't a conversation about cancer. It's about choosing life while you're still living it. Listen to this honest, courageous, life affirming conversation. Thank you Sarbari. Stories Seldom Told – out soon

"The Safe Space We Never Think About"
We often think of a safe space as somewhere quiet. Somewhere with softer lights or less noise. But what if the most important safe space isn't physical at all? In this week's episode of Stories Seldom Told, Debasish Paul shares one lesson that changed the way I think about autism—and about all human relationships. Emotional safety isn't a luxury. For many neurodivergent people, it's the foundation on which everything else is built.

"One cancelled meeting changed everything"

What happens when someone breaks a promise? For many of us, it's disappointing. For someone with autism, it can be profoundly distressing. In this episode, Debasish Paul shares the heart-breaking story of his son Noel waiting to see his favourite teacher-only for the meeting to be cancelled. It's a story about love, trust, emotional preparation and why what feels like a small change to us can feel overwhelming to someone else. Coming soon on Stories Seldom Told.
