Fragments make us who we are

I read somewhere that the best way to prolong your life is not to eat more broccoli and live longer by adding years to your life, but to add more hours to your days, meaning adding more moments, experience, make your time denser. Because time is subjective and the same 30 days can seem like 5 or 60 days when you look back.

Well even though I enjoy slow Mediterranean living, doing nothing and staring at the sea or sky, this August I have definitely prolonged my life with all the things that have happened in such a short period of time. It feels like August lasted for at least 100 days.

Or else, I could have spent the month on the beach 🤔

More cracks and broken pottery keep appearing as I slowly build a new collection.

Today it was blue and white old porcelain, followed by pieces of modern, summery plates. Somehow they bring memories of carefree days into the clouds.

I still don’t know where this fascination with golden cracks comes from so I think I’ll just let it keep happening.

Opening night at The Toy Project Gallery

Two weeks in London and all of this is happening already! Group show curated by Poppy Kettle gathered many wonderful artists. I met so many interesting people, had my own work exhibited among them in the gallery and yes, I guess it’s because I love London so much, it loves me back 😊

This exhibition supports , a charity that rehomes toys to children in need.

This paper boat is a small reminder that you don’t need a perfect ship to begin the journey.
