Digital systems are now part of everyday care work.
That does not mean every candidate or new starter is expected to feel confident straight away. Different providers use different systems, and it can take time to understand how information should be recorded, updated and shared.
What matters is honesty.
If you are unsure how to record something, ask. If you are not sure where information should go, check. If something feels sensitive, unclear or important, do not guess.
Good care records support safe communication, continuity and accountability. They help the next person understand what has happened, what has changed and what needs attention.
Digital confidence is not about pretending you know everything.
It is about taking information seriously enough to ask for support when you need it.
