People often ask me how I manage four kids and two businesses.

Firstly, remember, you only see a snippet of everyone’s life on here. I have great days, bad days, great moments, high stress moments. I want to be genuine on here. I’ll tell you when it’s been a doozy of a day or a week, or great, but honestly, I don’t have time to play it all out on here - I’ve got four kids and two businesses to run 🤣.

Anyway - I thought it might be worth sharing something I do do - perhaps you do this too?

I take time to reflect on our pressure points.

Those moments in the day that bring stress or always feel stressful and I change something. We’ll work out how we can do it different, better, how can we take the stress out.

As an example (and I’ve got loads of examples!), for me, one of the biggest pressure points used to be last-minute requests in the morning from my teenagers.

“Mum I need socks.”
“Where’s my PE kit?”
“Have you washed my jumper?”

And it would instantly trigger stress. Especially as I’m trying to get little ones sorted out.

So instead of trying to become superhumanly organised (not happening, not realistic), I ask myself…

What could make this easier? What could we be doing differently so this isn’t a source of stress?

Our solution was simple.

Every evening we have a quick check-in:

“Do you have everything you need for tomorrow?”

Because the boys know that, in the morning, we are not available for last-minute emergencies.

We’re happy to help them - but the request has to happen the night before.

I love a simple exercise called Sustainers and Drainers - have you done something like this?

You write down what gives you energy in your day…and what drains you. Run through normal day and list things as a sustainer or drainer.

Then pick one drainer and ask:

What could make this easier?
Can I reframe this?
How can I support myself around this if it’s something I can’t change?

You don’t need to fix everything.

Just remove one pressure point at a time.

Is this helpful?

And Welldone if you got to the end of this reel 🤣

How do you do it? Tell me in the comments.

Lots of love

I didn’t start Founder Mums to build an empire.

I built what I needed when I started my business.

I built it to be meaningful.

We’re 5 members away from 100 subscribed members, then I’m closing the doors.

Not to create hype.

But to protect the space.

Right now the membership is full of mums building businesses from the ground up… navigating the loneliness and wobbles, stepping out of comfort zones, feeling proud of themselves and balancing the demands of growing something while still being mum.

Closing gives us room to connect properly.

It gives me space to support every member well.

And it gives me time to refine the membership before I reopen (which I will, but it might look different).

If you join as one of the Founding 100:
✅ Your £15/month price is locked in forever
✅ Your access never changes
✅ You’ll always be recognised as a founding member

I’ve extended the £5 first month until midnight on 1st March 2026.

5 spots.

Then we close.

If you’ve been watching quietly, this is your sign.

Happy to answer any questions.

Comment “Join” for the link.

Lots of love

A windy walk with some amazing Founder Mums - blowing away the cobwebs, chatting business, sharing challenges, testing ideas.

I love these monthly walks. A chance to get away from the desk, get outside, meet new people, connect with members.

I’ve come away with ideas, inspiration, feeling less alone.

Are you joining our next one? We have Walk and Talks happening all over the UK.

Comment “Walk” and I’ll send you details of a Founder Mums Walk and Talk near you.

Lots of love

Mindfulness changed my life.

There is no doubt about it.

Without the tools, the knowledge, the practices, I don’t think I would have navigated my life’s events in the same way.

Loss, grief, pregnancy, mum guilt, everything guilt, self-belief, confrontation, conflict - mindfulness and self-compassion practices have guided me through it all.

I was a very hot-headed woman in my 20’s and early 30’s. Quick to judge, quick to anger, quick to criticize myself - just really reactive! It was exhausting and not very enjoyable!

Mindfulness helped me bring all of that into awareness and manage it differently. I much prefer the me that I am now.

If you’re in the FMC - join me tonight at 8pm for our monthly Evening Session- which is always on a topic designed to support us as mums and women. Making sure you’re looking after you as well as you’re looking after your business.

Do you practice mindfulness?

Lots of love

I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

Founder Mums has always been open. No big launches. No dramatic countdowns. Just steady growth and women finding their way in when they’re ready.

But as we build towards our first 100 members, something has shifted for me.

A great membership isn’t just a big membership.

It’s trust.
It’s familiar faces.
It’s women who recognise each other’s names and know what stage each other are in.

It’s conversations that deepen over time instead of restarting every month.

And that only happens if the room has space to settle.

So when we reach 100 Founder Mums, I’m closing the doors for this intake.

If you’re in your the early years of business and you’re building in the middle of real life, - school runs, teenage mood-swings, sleep deprivation and endless snack provision - this is exactly who it’s for.

Membership is £15 a month.
Right now your first month is £5.
That offer ends February 28 — or when we reach 100.

If you’ve been hovering, consider this your nudge.

Comment “JOIN” and I’ll send you more details.
