A new installation of Minimalux lighting designs will be displayed for Clerkenwell Design Week, as part of the WAX Pop Up.

Positioned at the heart of the festival, the showcase invites visitors to experience Minimalux’s refined contemporary lighting collections within a previously unseen venue on Clerkenwell Green in London, (along with the other WAX building brands).

Opening hours: 10am - 6pm

NEW: NIL is a strikingly simple family of table and floor lights. The name speaks for itself in expressing the circular (O) nature of the globe and also in defining a design which is so spare it is almost nothing. Reduced to the most basic graphic elements NIL is akin to a moon on a stick, as if a child had drawn it that way.

New product releases presented alongside archive designs from our foundation 15 years ago are displayed at -ORIGIN, a Minimalux exhibition at WAX 2025 during the London Design Festival, from 13-21 September.

NIL will be available online soon.

Discover archive designs and new releases within the exhibition at WAX 2025. Minimalux takes us back to the origin of its name, defining the essence of the brands designs from its foundation 15 years ago to the present.

2010: from Latin minimus ‘least’ and lux ‘light’ or luxus ‘abundance’ [ minima-lux ]

Themed around an imagined dictionary definition, Minimalux presents a specially curated selection of products from its collection, all united by a simple singular philosophy that has guided the brands evolution from its beginning in 2010 and continues to this day. The exhibition features items from the archive, fresh additions to the ROTA family and new lighting range NIL.

A Room with a View | Exhibition Extended. Our exhibition is now extended for the week of Frieze London Art Fair, until 13th October. Minimalux connects design with landscape in a display of new products at the recently launched WAX Building in Shoreditch, London. Complementary to the installation are a series of monochromatic paintings by British artist, Andrew Rogers.

The Wax Building is a new creative hub for British independent design brands.The Minimalux exhibition is located on the second floor of the 4 storey former Victorian furniture factory, with permanent showrooms on other floors to design brands Tamart, Cozmo and Lightmass^, all have extended their design presentations until 13 October.

A Room With a View, Minimalux. Connecting design with landscape in a display of new product lines at The Wax Building.

Our first exhibition in 10 years, new designs are inspired by the studios setting located in a rural landscape, presented with paintings by Andrew Rogers at London’s latest design and arts hub for independent British brands, The Wax Building.

Exhibition dates: 16-22 September
Weekdays: 10am to 6pm
Weekends: 11am to 5pm

Our presentation is on the second floor of this former Victorian furniture factory for waxing and shellacking. 

The Wax Building is full of exhibitions for its grand opening during  this years London Design Festival, as an all year round design venue in the heart of Shoreditch including permanent showroom spaces for new brands TAMART and COZMO, installations by LIGHTMASS^ and MINIMALUX, visual identity by FIELD-DAY STUDIO. ⁠
