Black lives matter 🖤
I’ve purposefully not used the black live hashtag as it’s clogging up the stream in the hashtags and reducing what should be shown and shared. I urge you all to choose love, speak up, show up for the people who need us. We deserve to live in a world of love and unity.. and yet still, we aren’t. I pray for change, for voices to be heard and us to stand united as one 🖤

If you’re currently visiting the fridge 10000 times a day, let me tell you - YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I’ve learnt that balance is everything, so I always make sure that breakfast stays fun, relatively healthy and most important - QUICK. This is also a great way of getting kids to have their 5 a day, not have crazy amount of sugared cereals!
I have 5 spots left in ‘The Breakfast Club’ so if you want in, or just to know more drop a 🍓 it’ll be filled with easy recipes to create your own smoothie bowls, smoothies or protein pancakes as well as getting in your skin glow up! >> Let me introduce you to some of the most influential women in business 🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏿‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️When I started my business 5 years ago I dreamt of having a global business with ethnic diversity in my team. These women have all created the most amazing businesses of their own and I am so proud of each of them and love watching them flourish every day, inspiring others, growing themselves and having fun at the same time.

Ethnicity isn’t something I often talk about, being a woman of colour isn’t something I speak about but I’ve had my silent battles, like I know many people out there are having..

My message today is for you, the person who thinks that because you’re different you can’t have what you want. It’s time, its YOUR time to rise up and shine. The colour of your skin does not matter, your age does not matter, your place of birth does not matter, your faith does not matter. To break what is still an unspoken truth, it requires you to break the mould. It takes you to breathe deep, take a leap of faith and grow. Rise up for the men and women watching you from the side lines who need you to step into your power. Be willing to grow, be willing to get uncomfortable but trust me, there ARE and WILL be people cheering for you to do better. You might not always see someone like you killing it, for this exact reason you have to step up, lean into faith and do it for the people who need you to shine your light so they can shine theirs.

I found a place where I feel at home, women, men, different backgrounds, different races, different faiths all coming together - and heres the thing everyone starts at the exact same place with the same tools, its the person who works the hardest on themselves, willing to learn new skills, work their business consistently every day. It takes hard work, commitment and being willing to taking the knocks but bouncing back. In this game, its a level playing field.
It does exist, and you can have as big or small piece of the pie as you want. I invite you to drop a heart if this has been part of your life journey that you’re ready to let go of and ready to LEVEL UP to live your actual truth. Beautiful soul, you are so worthy✨

If most of the exercise you’ve had this lockdown has been trips to the fridge.. at least your brows have got you, well kinda. For me my brows are still pretty good.. they’ve started growing since I’ve taken my collagen supplement(someone should have removed tweezers from my hands in my teens!) Who needs to see their eyebrow lady?! 😂🙊 Whats the first appointment you’ll be booking when things go back to normal? Mine.. HAIRDRESSER! ✂️

‘The rich invest in time, the poor invest in money’ - Warren Buffet

We live in a world where we NEED instant gratification, if we put any effort in we want to see RESULTS RIGHT NOW. We are conditioned to trade our time for money. Many of us go through life not understanding the power of passive, residual income. Some who start to understand it and want a piece of the pie give up because they think their efforts are wasted.
In the first year of my business, I showed up to all the events, trainings, calls. None of which really earned me a penny but I had the foresight. I was willing to work for 5 years without seeing a penny, because I understood the compound effect of my efforts. I was patient, I stayed consistent and as a result of my hard work, my showing up, Helping people, I breathed belief and vision into everyone I met in and out of business. 12 months from my start date, tonnes of ’sweat equity’ I matched my ‘part time side hustle’ income to my full time 40hr/week corporate London job. That day watching those monies hit my bank account made EVERY.DAMN.MOMENT worth it.
Every business has Ebbs and flows, sometimes you will put in more time at the beginning and not see a penny. But you have to trust, the law of compound is R E A L. Don’t give up when you can’t see results, keep doing something every day that is moving you forward in your life & business most importantly TRUST YOURSELF when others start to question you.

Are you showing up as your authentic self and embracing your flaws? Or are you hiding in the shadows, wishing you were different like I was for years..
When I say years, I mean at least 28 years of my life. It has taken me this long to accept who I am, my skin colour, my ethnicity, my stretch marks, the uneven skin tone on my back and even the religion I came from. I grew up as one of the only girls of colour in my class through primary school, secondary and college. I always felt inadequate like I didn’t belong, not because I was ever made to feel that way but because I wasn’t like the rest. Small comments would be made, I would dread it because it made me feel ‘different’ but really they were just curious and trying to understand but all I wanted was to be like everyone else so I didn’t feel different. As a result, I didn’t really like or love myself I would withdraw and dim my light to fit in. When I heard Lisa Nichols from the secret say when she fell in love with her mocha skin she started to grow - that right there in her words gave me courage and almost the permission I needed to like me, for me. I started to like who I was, where I came from, my heritage, my ethnicity and my skin. Every day there is ‘something’ we are all battling in silence. I’m here to inspire upon you to be you, to embrace your crazy be authentic and stop watching from the sidelines and start living your life. It takes SECONDS of fierce COURAGE to create change, to take action. It won’t always be easy, there will be lots of ups and downs - but we want this because it’s our reminder we are growing.
What opportunities have you missed out on or wanted to do but talked yourself out of? Write a list of things you’ve not done because you’ve been so fearful, write another of what could be if you just tried. Feel the fear, do it anyway and know YOU CAN HANDLE IT ALL. Rise up, shine bright and start living with purpose 💜✨
