📚 A new version of the ACT Awareness e-Learning has been released by Protect UK and Counter Terrorism Policing Terrorism Policing, with a new look, refreshed opening and closing modules, updated terminologies, mobile device optimisation and improved accessibility. 📚

👜 Businesses, voluntary organisations and the public can now access and complete the new materials, which provides an introduction to counter terrorism across seven modules, including suspicious activity and items, marauding attackers and bomb threats. The ACT Awareness e-Learning takes approximately one hour to complete and can be paused to suit individual needs. 👜

👁️ An interactive digital exercise has also been released called ACT in a BOX, which individuals can use to simulate and explore their response to potential terrorist incidents near their premises. Participants engage in interactive exercises where they can influence the scenario’s outcome and reflect on their workplace protocols. Facilitated by a designated leader using a digital device, these exercises encourage group discussion and decision-making. 👁️

🛠️ The Rossi Security Team will be liaising and working closely with our employees, clients and customers to reap the maximum benefit from these new materials and tools and strengthen professional skills. 🛠️

Introducing out next Rossi Security Officer of the Month – Swayne!

Since joining the London team, Swayne's dedication to himself, his role, the Client and the company has been beyond exceptional.

Swayne is always looking sharp and maintains his appearance. He always takes the extra mile to help when extra cover is needed, and similarly also constantly follows up when returning to work following his own time-off.

Combining his impeccable appearance, customer service skills and loss prevention knowledge, he has just alone this month already recovered items on 2 occasions by monitoring the situation within a particular site. He has also been super vigilant by preventing entry to listed individuals, and effectively alerted other teams in the area of their presence.

A massive well done and congratulations to Swayne for being a star employee - continue to keep up the great work and representing your unique self.

Today, 22nd April, marks Earth Day. 🌍 🌿 🌊

At Rossi Security, we are proud to be continually investing in a number of green initiatives to contribute and achieve sustainable and environmentally friendly goals. Here are some of our ways how we promote this:

♻️ We actively work to reduce our waste by recycling and reusing wherever possible, and increasingly rely on electronic files in order to minimise our paper usage.

♻️ The adoption of a pure electric company car fleet since 2015 means no tailpipe, no fumes, and zero emissions into the environment.

♻️ We aim to use electricity responsibly by switching off electrical items in our offices overnight and at the weekends.

♻️ We encourage more sustainable modes of transport for our members of staff where possible – from walking and cycling to work to using electric vehicles, public transport and car-sharing.

♻️ We are constantly educating and training our members of staff on new ways to reduce energy and generate less waste, as well as increasing awareness of environmental issues.

There’s always more to be done in reducing our environmental impact, but we continue to monitor and review our activities and plans in order to contribute towards saving our planet, to bring about lasting and effective change and nurturing it for a better tomorrow.

🌟 Today, the 8th March 2024 is International Women's Day, and as part of the campaign to celebrate it, we wanted to talk about the women across our organisation and security industry. 🌟

Rossi Securityare proud to have women working at all levels within the business - from Client sites to the Head Office. We continue to train and encourage more women into the security industry, with endless career possibilities, which are all vital to the success of creating teams for our Clients and providing an amazing service that everyone is super proud of.

We are celebrating the leading contributions played by our female staff today; however we can strongly say we do this every single day, and collectively we will continue to do so on a daily basis to acknowledge and promote women's achievements, raise awareness against bias, stereotypes and discrimination, to take action for equality and to inspire inclusion.

✨ The success of every woman should be an inspiration to another, and we are strongest when we cheer each other on. ✨
