I had the pleasure of hosting a guest Anna Possibility Anna Kowalska Guimarães on my podcast who was a fascinating woman with a unique background. She is originally from Poland, but her heart is deeply rooted in Brazil. As she shared her story with me and my listeners, it became clear that her love for both countries had shaped her identity in profound ways.

Is it just me, or are the birds singing louder these days? Is is just me, or can we see and hear things that we couldn’t hear and see before the lockdown? Like the thousands in India who can now see the Himalayas for the first time in 30 years due to the drop in air pollution. I wonder if it is possible that we might even think new things we have never thought before in these unique times? And then what would be possible? For, as Proust famously said, ‘The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes’. Could this crisis give us new eyes?
