The King of The Straits Settlements.🗺️
This single top pop NGC MS63 ‘dot below bust’ 1925 50 cents example was issued during the reign of George V.

Though exact mintage of this type is not clear, NGC’s population report is very telling as to how rare this type truly is – only 41 graded versus 1000 plus pieces for the ‘cross’ type. This example is sure to catch the eye of any advanced Straits Settlements collector.

A $10 Note from Shanghai’s Banking Golden Age? 🏦
Established in 1853 and expanded to Shanghai in 1857. Aided by the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869 as well as the extension of the Indo-European telegraph line to China in 1871, business for the Mercantile Bank grew quickly.

Then later on in 1922, the bank moved into Union Building in Shanghai which still stands today as ‘Bund no.3’.

This 1916 $10 note is more than currency. It’s a piece of Shanghai’s financial golden age—issued by a bank that helped build the iconic waterfront we know today.

From Humble Plot to Wine Legend 🍷
On just 2.7 hectares in Pomerol, Château Le Pin was born in 1979—a tiny vineyard with a giant dream. Then came 2000. A perfect vintage. Robert Parker scored it 96 points. Only 500 cases were made.

Today, original cases are rarer than ever. Prices have surged over 400% since release. This lot—6 bottles, original wooden case—is a piece of wine history.

Estimate: HK$130,000–160,000

26 Years in the Making – Are You Ready to Own Whisky History?

In 2000, ten casks of organic Single Grain whisky were filled at Loch Lomond Distillery – a dream realised by veteran organic farmer John Savage-Onstwedder. It became the world‘s first organic Single Grain whisky certified by the Soil Association, made from grain grown without a single chemical additive.

Now, 26 years later, this is the LAST CASK remaining.

Originally matured in Bourbon, it was re-casked into Oloroso Sherry in May 2021. Today, at 58.2% ABV, it holds 210.5 litres of liquid – yielding approximately 300 bottles (700ml each) – as last regauged on 28th May 2026.
