Didn’t know whether to laugh or complain.
Then I realised…

Some construction businesses are built exactly like this.

From the outside, everything looks solid.
Big turnover.
Busy sites.
Work flying out the door.

But inside?
You’re still pricing jobs
Finding labour
Sorting payroll
Onboarding new starters

No plan. No structure.
Just you, holding the whole thing together.

You didn’t do anything wrong.
You just never had the space to step back and fix it.

So you keep going
Doing more
Thinking it’s normal

In 2025, I've set personal and financial goals that demand a shift in mindset. Last year, I reengaged in my beloved construction sector, aiming to accelerate towards these goals. To achieve this, I focused on turning my construction endeavors into a lucrative venture.

While adept at forging connections, I aspired to reach new heights as a £500,000 biller. Seeking guidance, I turned to elite-level billers Randee Staats Jr. and Mike Anderson. Their insights, especially from the Sam Miller podcast, reshaped my approach. Implementing their points-based system, I achieved 93 points in the first week, a significant milestone (pictured below taken 5 hours before end of my week). To those aiming for a performance boost this year, consider learning from those already excelling. Emulating success through daily practice and coaching is key to attaining financial independence. I highly endorse Randee Staats Jr.; his drive and determination is transformative. If you seek to elevate your game, he can guide you towards becoming a powerhouse too, something I hope to achieve this year.

I finish with one thing, you have to surround yourself with success. The more you are around people who are failing or just getting by the more it rubs off on you. Change your environment = change your results.
