When people hear the word influencer, they often think of Instagram creators with huge followings.

But for small businesses, your most valuable influencers usually look very different.

They're the people who genuinely believe in what you do, understand the value you bring, and are happy to recommend you to others. They might be business coaches, networking contacts, industry experts, community leaders, or simply well-connected people who know your ideal clients.

These are the people who can open doors, make introductions, and become trusted advocates for your business.

One of the best exercises you can do is to ask yourself: Who influences my ideal customer?

Once you've identified them, start building genuine relationships.

🔄 Share their content.
☕ Invite them for a coffee or a virtual chat.
🤝 Take the time to explain what you do, who you help, and the impact you make.

And don't be afraid to ask for introductions or support.

Last week, Fee and Sally had the opportunity to visit one of our clients, Mimosa Garden Services, at their HQ.

We support Basil and his team with their social media, advertising, newsletters, CRM and website, so it was brilliant to see everything in action and learn more about how the business runs day to day.

Although we work as virtual assistants there's nothing quite like meeting our clients in person. It helps us build stronger relationships and understand their business even better.

We're delighted to welcome Frankie to the team this week.

Frankie brings a wealth of experience in tech account management and customer success, and has built a career around helping businesses grow through strong client relationships, clear communication and a genuine understanding of customers' needs.

More recently, Frankie has combined her commercial experience, along with a degree in graphic design, to become a freelance marketing and creative design, specialising in presentations, branded content and marketing materials that help businesses communicate their value. She enjoys taking complex ideas and turning them into clear, engaging messaging, that resonates with the right audience.

To celebrate Frankie joining, we enjoyed a lovely team lunch in the sunshine at The Old Queens Head in Penn.
