Has your business adapted yet to the rise of AI search?
Google is still the biggest search engine, but the way people search has changed. More and more of us are turning to social media and AI tools and even Google now shows AI generated summaries at the top of search results.
So how do you make sure your business is visible and recommended by AI?
At our recent team meeting, Sally shared some brilliant and practical tips:
🔹 Use natural keywords across your website, Google Business Profile and social media pages.
🔹 Use real photos where possible instead of stock images. Before uploading, rename image files to include relevant services and locations.
🔹 Keep your Google Business Profile updated with accurate information, services, website links, fresh photos, and regular reviews.
🔹 Reviews are essential. Encourage customers to leave a Google Business reviews and always reply to them. If possible, ask customers to mention the service they used and their location.
🔹 Make sure your website is mobile friendly and clearly explains what you do, where you work, who you help and how to contact you. Including FAQs, reviews, and real imagery also helps as AI search tools love answer-based content.
🔹 On social media, include locations and services in your posts. Share before & afters, team introductions, behind-the-scenes content, and useful tips.
The businesses most likely to be recommended by AI are the ones consistently creating clear, useful, and trustworthy content online.
