Conference Event / Media Interview: Avoiding Silos with Digital Transformations

On June 19th I was a speaker at the ConnecTechAsia conference in Singapore, taking place at Marina Bay Sands.

Media Interview: Transformative Change

Back in March this year I did an interview with the Business Transformation Network about the increasing magnitude of 'disruption' in the world today and the need for 'change management' to adapt to it.
In the interview, we looked at how the point of 'change champions' for organisational transformation may be subject to some new considerations and different emphasis.

Yesterday I was the opportunity to address the Unleashing Change Innovation 2018 conference in Amsterdam:

During the speech, I managed to sneak in a story about squirrels! There's a turf war between red and grey squirrels happening everyday on the island of Great Britain, and there's a lesson that we can learn from this for 'change management'. I had the privilege last week to close the Unleashing Change Management conference in Amsterdam. A great conference organised by Global Executive Events. Today, my Euro travels continued with a trip to Brussels to deliver a Change Management workshop for the executive board at Lantmannen.

The July edition for the HR Agenda magazine has been released this month with the issue carrying a Change Management theme. I have had the privilege to write the editorial for the issue and put forward my thoughts on how we may have to look at the need to 'change the way we change' when considering the topic of 'Evolutionary Change VS Revolutionary Change'. This included tackling how previous thoughts on leading and communicating change may need to be addressed.

The magazine, published in both English and Japanese, is available in Japan now (1,500 Yen) and some international markets ($9.99 for print and $4.99 for digital edition).

Later this summer, I shall be making an alternative version of the editorial available as an article on www.7csofchange.com and am looking forward to delivering an open webinar on the topic at the end of July (date and organiser tbc shortly).

Last week I had the opportunity as a visiting lecturer to deliver an extended Change Management seminar for students at the University of Aachen Apllied Sciences, Germany. One of the topics was a discussion of the 7Cs of Change Methodology which the students were familiar with as the 'Transformative Change' book is part of their core reading list.

I had the pleasure of delivering a Change Management Foundations course for a group of Masters students @ Karlsruhe University of Applied Science this week in Germany. Students undertook an exam at the end of the course awarding them credits for their Masters. They also had the option to opt in for the CTC Academy certification: www.ctc-association.com

I am having a wonderful visit to Japan this week, which included the opportunity to deliver an evening seminar in Tokyo for the Japan HR Society. More infromation about the event on their website and page.
