Also at Phil Ade Services.

Another Aiwa AD-F660 cassette deck which had weird loss of (as well as muffled) HF and cassette deck behaving oddly.

Repaired broken tracks, pads, dried joints and replaced a smashed off inductor on its Main Control Board PCB.

I also cleaned the tape heads, capstans and pinch rollers as they were filthy.

Currently aligning the left and right line outputs of the cassette deck with part of my Lindos LA100 test set.

A faulty Wohler AMP 1-16 SDI Audio Monitoring Unit that wouldn't power up.

Now on soak test after replacing it's switch mode power supply.

Also fixed today at Phil Ade Services Limited.

A 1972 Sanyo M4400F, the grandfather of boomboxes.

This one had several nightmare faults within the cassette machine part of the boombox.

Currently on soak test after lots of lubrication, belts, pinch roller and cassette motor replacement as well as fixing the right hand speaker's wiring.

Getting parts for those tape machines are practically impossible and I had to measure up parts of the tape deck for alternative parts.

A Vonyx VDA500 500W audio power amplifier with dodgy SpeakOn sockets and very noisy fans.

All have been replaced and the amplifier has been soak tested.
