I started my business 6 years ago thinking I was some all-round marketing gal, doing every job in the world for about a tenna.

It’s funny. I met Tara as a client nearly SIX years ago now! The funny thing was, Tara was the social media manager and I was doing work for her.... well, God knows what I was doing for her really 🤣

Business doesn’t always pan out the way you think it’s going to! Laughable, YET here I am still standing solo six years on (and going strong if I do say so myself!!)

Tara and I lost touch, and then through totally different businesses, we connected again! It was the most random and incoincidental happening. 5 years on from that, and we’re still good friends!

Business. It’s a funny ol’ world!

As I’m trying to practice what I preach a little bit more (and anyone who knows me knows I HATE having my photo taken), I am TRYING to get my face integrated with my brand more...

As a business that thrives on word of mouth and recommendations, I need to be putting my best foot (or face) forward, so people know who’s actually behind the brand!

I am so excited for what’s coming up the next few months, with the most exciting thing - The Freelancer Hub! I officially have my first 100 sign ups 🥳 but will be extending FREE LIFETIME membership until the end of the year.

It’s the same in business, believe it or not.

As a brand actively trying to market yourself, it’s important to actually engage with your audience to generate results 💬

I’ve seen it first hand (enough times) when people just hope to stick a couple of posts out on the gram & hope that they’re going to get clients rolling through the door 😂🙄

SORRY, but that’s not how it works.... (kinda wish it was though, would make my life a lot easier 😂)
