🛡️ Business Continuity & Resilience Awareness Week 2026 🛡️
“Think You’re Resilient? Think Again.”
Today marks the start of Business Continuity & Resilience Awareness Week 2026, led by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).
This year’s theme is a wake-up call:
Resilience isn’t a static checklist.
It’s a living capability that must be challenged, tested and evolved.
Across the week, we’ll be exploring five uncomfortable questions raised by the BCI:
❔Are we prepared for hybrid and systemic threats?
❔Do our exercises build capability or confidence?
❔Have we truly accounted for climate risk?
❔Do we understand our ecosystem dependencies?
❔Is our leadership culture ready for crisis?
The UK Resilience Academy works with organisations across public, private and voluntary sectors to move resilience from documentation to decision-making.
Aligned to the UK Government Resilience Framework and recognised standards such as ISO 22301, our focus is simple:
✔ Build adaptive capability
✔ Strengthen crisis leadership
✔ Integrate cyber and supply chain resilience
✔ Stress-test plans under pressure
✔ Embed resilience into business-as-usual

Because in 2026, resilience isn’t about having a plan.
It’s about performing under pressure.
Follow us this week as we challenge assumptions and share practical insight to help organisations strengthen their resilience capability.
