Happy International Women’s Day.

I am very proud and honoured to stand alongside this strong and inspiring woman as being part of the amazing Wallington Montessori childminding community.

Maria Montessori campaigned for woman's rights( like many other women around the world!). She was the first woman to graduate in medicine in Rome, to developed a new education philosophy empowering young children, help them achieve and follow their dreams! She campaigned for a peaceful world and she is our hero🤩

Our dentist
reads stories first,
tells the patients “shhh” at the slightest movement,
discusses their behaviour in details,
goes and cooks at the kitchen for unlimited time,
and then eventually examines them- your mouth is full of cavities…🤦🏼🤦🏼
And at the end tells them:
“Good night! Eat your soup!!”🤣🤣

A wonderful way to start the new term and to get back together after the holidays!

Experiencing Vincent Van Gogh’s life story, emotions and arts through music, colours and his paintings! Also a perfect way back to the last term’s project about famous painters and his works! We loved the day!

All week long we have been busy preparing and celebrating the hard work of women around the world and recognising their contributions to make it a better place for us all!
We have been busy in the kitchen whisking,making, chopping, mixing, baking and “roasting bacon in the microwave”🤭; “flipping burgers in the pan”🔥with love and excitement creating for Mother’s Day too!

We’re wishing every woman, mother and Grandmother around the world a very special day; you all deserve it! We cannot stress how much we thank you for everything!
