🚛 YOUR MAIN DUTIES:

🚨 Job Scam or Genuine Vacancy? 6 Red Flags to Watch For

Looking for work online? Unfortunately, fake job adverts and recruitment scams are becoming increasingly common, particularly through social media, WhatsApp and messaging apps.

Before sharing your personal information, look out for these warning signs:

❌ You are asked to pay money to secure a job
A recruitment agency should not charge you a fee for finding you work.

❌ The pay sounds too good to be true
Very high wages for simple work with no experience required can be a warning sign.

❌ There are no proper company details
Check the company name, website, email address and contact details.

❌ You are asked for sensitive information too quickly
Be cautious if someone immediately asks for bank details, copies of documents or other personal information without explaining why.

❌ The recruiter puts pressure on you to act immediately
Scammers often create urgency so you don't have time to check whether the offer is genuine.

❌ Communication comes only through WhatsApp, Telegram or a personal email address
Legitimate recruiters should be able to clearly identify the company they represent.

✅ If you're unsure, check before you share.

✅ Apprentice rate: £8.00 per hour
