🛫 Accelerating Sustainable Aviation 🛬

Collaboration and aligning ecosystems is key to creating a sustainable aviation sector. So, for us it’s exciting (and inspiring) to be working with the Aerospace Global Forum (AGF) and the the Cambridge Accelerator on filming talks around how the aerospace ecosystem can prioritise where investment in innovation is directed for a sustainable future. 🌌 Dawn of new era in Aerospace. 🌌

A key business pillar for Shelton Fleming is our strategic brand work. This is especially true across the aerospace sector. We’ve been commissioned by some of the biggest players in aerospace, to rethink their segment brand relevance and narrative for thriving in a disruptive digital era. The latest being AGF, the Global Aerospace Forum.

Working with Julian Boram, Founder of TROH and Executive Lead, Farnborough International, we’ve developed the AGF brand narrative drawing on the Farnborough Air Shows pioneering spirit and being a forum that brings together the aerospace community with finance, tech start-ups, governments, NGOs, consultants and academics, to tackle climate change, defence and security.

Shelton Fleming’s corporate strategy director, Andrew Reid, speaking on a panel at this year’s M&I Healthcare Conference, in Berlin. Seen here, Andrew was explaining how the overarching goal for a strategic audience engagement agency, has pivoted to a sustainable narrative. When choosing where and how to host a pharma congress, forum or meeting, sustainability and social impact is fast-become an all pervasive consideration.

Locations and venues will increasingly be chosen for their sustainability credentials. For example are the venue and hotels using eco-energy providers? Is the entire transport of infrastructure of a City sustainable? How far is the venue from public transport? What is the eco-rating of the venue and hotel? Can catering be sustainably sourced? Eventually, it will even come down to, is the city chosen being serviced by airlines using SAF fuels? What is the policy of the venues, hotels and local contractors to social issues, like, working conditions, gender balance, diversity and inclusion in management?

With measurement and benchmarking platforms, like Trace by Isla, which Shelton Fleming is an early adopter, will expose greenwashing and drive change in practices, policies, partnerships and infrastructure choices.
