Getting my hands on good quality alt sleepwear in the UK seemed to be a hard thing to achieve and this is one of the reasons I decided to create Sleep Roxx.

If individual style, sustainable fashion, comfy sleepwear and all things 2000s nostalgia sounds right up your street then you’ll really like what I’m trying to achieve 🖤

Every-body should feel confident and included when it comes to fashion. And I’m forever grateful for the love and excitement this community has shown already!

Alt sleepwear for REAL bodies 🤘🏻

We should have sleepwear that represents our style, fits comfortably on our bodies and doesn’t lack in quality.

I’ve been spending MONTHS working on all of the above, including designs and making sure Sleep Roxx is sustainable.

I’m loving creating this cool little corner of the internet. And you guys have been F’ing amazing 🖤🤘🏻

One of the reason I’ve chosen to use Bamboo for our sleepwear is because it’s SO soft and breathable 🖤
And for an overstimulated, sweaty gal like me those are really important parts of being comfortable in my clothes.

The type of printing method that was initially used on the fabric made it loose its softness, which was a deal breaker for me! The fabric also didn’t really cling onto the colour very well from printing so I knew some big changes were needed.

I’m currently waiting on some swatches to make sure the feel and overall look of the fabric is perfect. Won’t settled for anything less 🤘🏻

The excitement and nerves I felt when I opened the door to the postman yesterday was something else 😅

My very first samples have officially arrived.
I’ve ordered four different garments.
Four different colours.
Four very important parts for my brand.

This week I’ll be putting them to the test. I’ll be posting a lot to get all of your opinions as well as trying them out on friends and family.

I already know there are some changes I’ll be making, but that’s the whole point of sampling the items I’ve designed.

I can’t wait to share more 🤘🏻

Oversized, sustainable and QUALITY alternative sleepwear will soon be a thing!

Guys, my first samples will be here in the next couple of days 🤩 To say I’m excited would be me playing it down lol. I cannot bloody WAIT!

Obviously I hope they’re everything I dreamed of but I won’t be settling for anything less. And I’ll be sharing it all with you DUH 😉🥰

To think I almost didn't start because I was scared of the unknown. I was scared I'd embarrass myself. That people wouldn't like my ideas...

But the alt community has welcomed Sleep Roxx with open arms 🥰 and you guys are excited as I am to finally have sleepwear that reflects our fu***ng awesome style.

Numbers don't mean everything to me but seeing the pages grow is definitely reassuring for a new business.

If you have an idea, want to start posting content. Just go for it. I wish I could have skipped the initial fear because it was only holding me back!
