31st October is the paper self-assessment deadline.

If you're filing online, your deadline is 31st January. But that doesn't mean that you should sit and wait until later on.

Companies House Personal Code - here's how to actually get one.

Step 1:
Go to GOV.UK and search for Companies House identity verification.

Step 2:
Sign in or create a GOV.UK One Login account.

Step 3:
Verify your identity online, via the app, or at a Post Office.

Step 4:
Companies House issues your Personal Code.

The accountancy industry has spent decades talking AT people rather than WITH them.

The dread isn't about your numbers. It's about not feeling supported.

It's the feeling that comes when you've never had an accountant who actually explained what was happening. Who called before the deadline, not after. Who asked where you wanted the business to go, not just where it had been.
