Excited to announce that we have been nominated for Charnwood’s Community Heroes 2020 award!

For what has been a difficult year for everyone, we have continued to put the communities safety and needs at the forefront of our work.

We are delighted to have been considered for this award in our first year of business and will continue to go the extra mile for our local community in the coming years.

On behalf of all the team at We-Fab, we would like to thank our customers and community for the on-going support we have received over the past 12-months. In times of uncertainty, it is great that independent businesses are being supported, which allows us to help others.

We-Fab has been nominated for an award in the Charnwood Community Heroes 2020 category of Business Community Action.

‘A brilliant team effort from a local business making our community spaces Covid-19 safe.’

We-Fab has ‘stepped up’ to the sudden and urgent need of voluntary and community groups in Charnwood for protective screening and PPE and in doing so have gone above beyond to ensure community groups can create Covid-19 safe meeting spaces for some of our most vulnerable people in Charnwood. The We-Fab team has shown huge empathy and understanding of the issues faced by community groups as they struggle to reopen their venues and resume vital services. They have 'gone the extra' mile in helping groups identify how to create safe spaces; provided product advice; provided free assembly demonstrations; been mindful of the need for speedy deliveries and crucially, in discounting prices to maximise limited amounts of grant funding. Notably, they have offered one of our arts-based groups supporting people with severe mental health issues some cardboard versions of screening free of charge because they thought they would enjoy decorating them - we can't wait to see the photos. We-Fab is my Community Hero!'

Wow - what a year it has been! It has definitely been a rollercoaster of a ride; from setting up a year ago to facing a global pandemic. 🦠

🐶 Yoda is our 10-week-old Pug and is an asset to the team. He has 10-weeks experience in untying the teams shoelaces, which has been really helpful during the heatwave when it was hot in the office.
