THE CAVALRY ARE HERE!!! 😀🥳

They arrived last night over the plains with the sound of thundering hooves 🐎🐎

Actually, they arrived down the M74/M6 in a Skoda Roomster.

The Grandparents are here! 🙌🏼

They're off to Twin Lakes and I have the house to myself to get on with my very busy day.

Mum and Dad you are THE BEST! 😍😍

Sleep tight Olivia 😥

She brings to the surface so many lovely memories of my younger years.

My particular favourites are:

Roller skating around my primary school playground at weekends with my best friend, trying to sync pressing play on our walkmans so we could get Xanadu playing at the same time. Singing our little lungs out.

Leaping around lifting our Mum's weights to Lets Get Physical thinking we looked just like her.

Sitting here now, these memories make me smile so much.

Controversially, I never liked Sandy's transformation in Greece. In fact, it made me feel quite sad that she had to completely change her image and attitude to "get the boy" who actually originally really liked her for who she was and how she looked.

But that's just me.

HAPPY FIRST BUSINESS BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! 🎈

I can't believe my wee business is officially a whole year old. 🎂

I also can't believe that I completely missed this (rather important) milestone as I was far too busy having fun with my best pal and our kids on the beach. 🤣

The fact that this happened speaks volumes.

One of the main reasons I started working for myself was to try to create a better work/life balance.

To earn enough money, I could confidently take time off to spend time with the people I love most without feeling stressed or (a Mum's favourite word!) GUILTY!

I think this proves that this objective has been reached! 🙌🏼

It also reinforces to me that THIS is what a selfie should be. A one-shot, imperfect, off-the-cuff attempt to show how you're feeling and what you're doing at an exact moment in time.

Not a bloody forced duck face in sight. 🦆❌

Mission accomplished 🤣♥

Happy 1st business birthday to me. 😊

Fear or joy???? 😱😀

If you're a working parent you're either in, or dangerously close to being in the school holidays. How do they make you feel?

Do you manage to take time off with the kids or is it business as usual?

If you do manage to take time off, how do you plan so your business doesn't suffer or you aren't in a constant state of panic during your "break"? 😳

I'm very aware that the clock is ticking on my wee one wanting to spend lots of time with me, so I'm going to try and make the most of this holiday. 👩‍👦

So I know where I am each week, I've done some very strict planning and given my clients plenty of notice of my planned time off.

Being prepared in my business helps my head stay clear and allows me the headspace to think of loads of fun stuff to do

Had theeeeee best morning attending The Big VA Meet Up! Every time I think the VA community can’t get any better, it pulls something else out the bag. Great to see some old faces and meet lots of news one. Hayley was a fantastic host & the speakers were brilliant. I’ll be smiling through till the weekend now. Thanks ladies! 😁

WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN!! ❤

I'm still smiling from an awesome weekend away with a bunch of internet weirdos. 😉

I "met" these 4 fabulous females when the awesome @ put us together in our "Team Yellow" group on her brilliant Midlife Revolution course almost 2 years ago.

Since then we have spoken via WhatsApp pretty much every single day.

These ladies have been with me right from the initial concept of my business and have given me unbiased, honest and brilliant advice. Not just in business, but in life too.

Their unfaltering support has helped me through very happy, and very sad, difficult times. They never judge (or if they do, they never do it out loud 😂) and 100% of the time, I feel better after sharing with them.

This weekend, we finally got to meet up and it was fantastic. It felt like we'd known each other for years.

To have a group of ladies like this in your corner is one of life's joys.

Thank you Team Yellow for wafting with me, making me laugh till my face hurt, shouting over the too-loud singer and basically just being the brilliant ladies that you are.

I'm not quite sure what I'd do without you 🤗

2 weeks ago I had the best day being bridesmaid to my gorgeous friend who finally got to marry her wonderful man.
On the day, we were made to look gorgeous by 2 ladies who are SO bloody good at what they do and great company while they do it.
I want to give a mahusive shout out to Toni and . My hair and make up not only looked amazing, but made me feel like a very glam version of me, rather than a made up alien. Their work lasted from early morning, right up till bed time and I felt I had to capture the start and finish results.
Thank you both for making us feel so special on Sarah’s big day ❤️❤️

Brilliant way to kick things off after the Jubilee Weekend! 👑

My very first Cocktail Lounge! 😀

I didn't know what to expect, but Philip & Stephen of course had plenty up their sleeves ,with a fantastic mix of businesses and brilliant speakers, Dominic Gomersall, MD of (where my bezzie's very new Husband bought her utterly gorgeous engagement ring 💍💑) and the inspirational Professor Dame Elizabeth Fradd who I could have listened to all day.

I met so many interesting people and made loads of new connections.

Very much hope to meet some of these heads and shoulders in real life at at KuKu event very soon!
