Kapelwa Mbangweta scoops the UPND provincial Chairmanship beating his rival former Provincial Chairman Njamba Musangu with 271 to 134 votes.

This was in the provincial elections that took place yesterday.

Take note that these votes exclude Limulunga that didn't vote after Musangu Njamba set the PF Police on them.

Case for Imikendu Nabiwa, Charles Mutemwa and others coming on 29th and 30th December,2020.

The case of Imbwae Imikendu, Charles Mutemwa and others is still on. The case came up and lawyers for the Litunga were present.

The lawyers for Litunga Edwin Lubosi Imwiko II argued that the Litunga is a King of Barotseland who has Immunity to appear before the Court.

Imbwae Imikendu and others argued that Litunga is a Chief of Western Province adding that the High Court can't draw them back on a case that was decided by Constitutional Court already.

Nabiwa Imikendu and others told the Court that the Constitutional Court ruled already that Edwin Lubosi Imwiko II is just a Chief who can be sued and appear before Court.

They handed over the Court Judgement where the Constitutional Court decided that Mr. Litunga Edwin Lubosi Imwiko II has no immunity and is not a constitutional holder to appear before the Court.

After presenting the Constutional Court Judgement to the Judge, the Judge asked Imikendu and others to give him chance to read the Constutional Judgement.

The matter is coming up for ruling on 29th and 30th December, 2020.

NGAMBELASHIP SHOULD BE SUBJECTED TO ELECTION

Village Headman and Barotseland youth and traditional analyst Telly Mubita is of the view that the position of the Ngambela should be subjected to election to avoid inefficiency and ineffective leadership.

He said the current position of the Ngambela is just serving interest of one person than serving the people of Barotseland because he is respecting the figure that feeds him.

He said if office of the Ngambela is filled by democratic votes from the people of Barotseland, the Ngambela will not do what is contrary to the aspiration of the people.

Telly said contrary to the malfunction leadership of the current Ngambela who is against the wishes of the people of Barotseland ,if his dream of electing the Ngambela could come to fruition , he could contest and start doing what is right.

"I'm looking forward to a time when the office of the Ngambela of Barotseland will be subjected to elections." Telly said.

Telly narrated that if he was a Ngambela the first thing he could have done is to ask the people of Barotseland how they want to to be governed adding that he will do exactly what the people of Barotseland would demand without subtracting or adding.

" If that happens and I'm elected into office, the first thing I will do is to ask the people of Barotseland how they want to be governed and do exactly what they would demand without subtracting or adding." Telly added.

In a secret interview with BWD , Telly revealed that he is at pain seen how BRE is fighting the aspiration of the people of Barotseland.

Telly who was crying at the time of secret interview with BWD, (though the young was talking to BWD without knowing is talking to the dog) said the sufferings of the people of Barotseland is placed under the shoulders of BRE, thus there is urgent transformation going by current status.

A lot of people in Barotseland have condermed BRE Leadership and wished the Institution can be abolished.

Mr. Edwin Lubosi Imwiko II is a Congolese. He can trace his root if Barotseland is deleted. Some of us we have no roots in Congo. Our village is in Nalikwanda. Stop destroying our country, if you are tired ,please resign and go back to Congo. The man has no heart for Barotseland because he knows he has a country (Congo) where he can run to; us we only have Barotseland.
