EDITORIAL COMMENT: COMFORTING ONE ANOTHER WITH EMPTY WORDS!

In Barotseland, we have NO King. Why? Because a King must have a kingDOM and a kingdom is a sovereign entity. It is a sovereign state, having a defined territory (boundaries), a specified population, and MUST have a constitution of it's own, written or unwritten.
It must have it's own banking system, and security of it's own, etc.
Now, tell us, which constitution governs Barotseland, we mean only Barotseland? Nothing!
Barotseland security? Nothing! We are not interested in secrets here, but in things that are seen. There is nothing. Barotseland or Western Province, is not sovereign but is governed from Lusaka, the Central Government of the Republic of Zambia. You are Zambians and that's what Lubosi, with a Zambian National Registration Card and a Zambian Voter's Card is, a ZAMBIAN!
A citizen of Zambia, under the Constitution of Zambia CANNOT be a King in Zambia. Whether you like it or not, that's fact and stop fooling yourselves and parading your ignorance and arrogance to the world. You and Lubosi, are all Zambian!
Lubosi Imwiko or the Litungaship is under the authority of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia. Now which authority are you people of Western Province talking about? You must be jokers.
Tradition:
You are all shamelessly talking like children. "If he goes to court then he loses his authority... that's untraditional." You have got to be kidding us.
You better talk about other things and not tradition. The first person guilty of breaking Barotseland Tradition is LUBOSI IMWIKO!
1. His coronation was untraditional. He was put there by and with the help of MMD. He never followed tradition.
2. The Litunga is protected by Imilemas (Barotseland Royal Security). Who protects Lubosi now? Zambia Police.
3. Lubosi is a GRZ senior official. You saw the letter and how he accompanied WP minister to Ethiopia. Untraditional.
4. Where the Ngambela should act and speak, he has been all over the news.
5. In begging for money from their masters (the authority that be, the which they subscribe to), they tell who they are. Who Lubosi is. A Litunga of Western Province! Tell us, where on earth have you seen a king ruling a Province of a country? Only in Barotseland.
The list goes on. The man has been so shameful when it comes to preserving Barotseland Tradition. He has lamentably failed. So, while we are to defend our tradition and the Litungaship, Lubosi is a failure. Now, to tell that us or to show that when he gets into trouble, then tradition exists, but when he breaks tradition and the people, who should have the power over their affairs suffer, tradition does not exist, clearly, shows that the people of Barotseland, or should I rightly say, of Western Province have become jokers and this crop of jokers must pass away to Pave way for people who think and reason straight.
Those disgruntled youths saying they are going to offer security and protect Lubosi, are the most unthinking human beings we have ever seen or heard. They don't know what they are doing. In fact, they are hallucinating.
Protecting Lubosi from who? Zambia Police or who, really? You must be insane. Again, you can't protect from the people of Western Province because you are the same jokers.
All of you, stop this nonsense.
What the people should protect is the Litungaship and NOT the person who has failed people. If by going to court, he loses authority, it is not the Litungaship that has lost authority, but the person of the Litungaship, who by that act, is immediately replaced by another person into the office of the Litungaship. What is perpetual according to our culture is the office,and not the individual who holds that office. How many kings we have had so far and are gone? Don't be confused and enslaved by your wrong perception and interpretation of our culture. If the person who holds that office becomes a joker, we cannot bow down to him. We should protect the office (Litungaship) and not the joker in the office who is making people's lives difficult. What benefit do you get, as a Morotse from this Chief? Nothing!
He, and his entire BRE cannot run the affairs of Barotseland. Even with the money that comes from Liuwa, he can't build his own road or even his Kuta. The kuta looks very pathetic and they are not ashamed of that. All the monies which should have been in the Barotseland coffers as it were, he pockets and even his indunas benefit literally nothing. Even simple things, these men are at a great loss to achieve. All they do, is to look up their authorities in Lusaka, their masters. There is NO authority in Barotseland.
The unfortunate thing is, those who can put all these political things together and save them and everyone else from slavery, they fight and vow never to support. Where do these people come from kanti?!
Cowardice, unpatriotic, selfish and backwardness describes a typical nature of this crop of leaders and followers in Western Province.
Let Edwin Lubosi Imwiko II appear before Zambian Courts, we shall preserve Litungaship that is in Makono.
