We wanted to post this yesterday, but truth be told, we were so completely immersed in serving you all, chatting at the counter, and getting stuck into our first morning deliveries that Day 1 simply flew by. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you so much for the incredible warmth, smiles, and kindness you showed us on our first official day.
We are so proud to officially introduce ourselves as the new owners of Stevensons: Ashley & Jonathan Janney-Cryans!
Many of you will already know our faces around town. Ashley founded The Little Sewing Shop
and Jonny founded Forté, both just a stone’s throw away from this lovely shop. Louth is our home, and independent high street trade is our expertise.
Taking over a name like Stevensons is an immense honour. Trading since 1878, this shop has stood at the heart of Eastgate through generations. Pete has been amazing throughout this transition, and our top priority is protecting the heritage, community spirit, and trusted personal service that Pete and the Stevensons family built over so many decades.
While the historic roots stay firmly planted, we’re also excited to bring some fresh energy to the produce!

Family team: You’ll also spot Keisha in the shop! She is heading up our social media and PR, lending a hand to her cousin Ashley, and will be sharing recipe ideas and fresh arrivals with you online!
