"Who said you can't tour on a 990 Duke?" 🏍️💨
Huge shoutout to Steve for sending in these epic shots from his recent European blowout. He just proved that naked bikes are built for serious distance!
The Stats:
- Distance: Just under 4,000 miles
- Duration: Just over 2 weeks
- Countries: 4 (UK, France, Spain, Portugal)
The Highlights:
- Cumbria to France: Channel Shuttle crossing into endless French backroads.
- The Pyrenees & Spain: Crossing mountain passes and pushing through 42°C heat—the bike didn't sweat a bit (though Steve definitely melted!).
- Portugal: Well-earned rest days, cold beers, and endless twisties.
- Picos Mountains: Pinning it through northern Spain’s tight hairpins and fast straights before catching the ferry home from Santander.
The Duke is now squeaky clean, resting up back home in the North West, and waiting for its next mission. Unbelievable effort, Steve! 🍻
