Safety is paramount when it comes to Offshore CTV Operations.

Over the weekend, Iceni Vengeance participated in a simulated Man Overboard drill involving the RNLI and Coastguard.

They were carrying out search patterns to "find the casualty" and then once successfully recovered, they were transferred to the Coastguard helicopter.

Here are some photographs of the exercise from the RNLI's perspective.

The drill was carried out successfully and we are grateful to the RNLI and the Coastguard for their efforts- these drills help save lives.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week, we wanted to share some of the good work the team have been doing over the past year.

We teamed up with wellbeing and leadership coach, Gemma Sandwell, who offers 1:1 coaching sessions to our crew and office staff, ensuring that everyone has access to personalised coaching. These sessions are still available and come highly recommended, "Gemma's workshop on mental health awareness was a valuable reflection piece for me. In our 1-2-1 session, Gemma's simple challenge of "you are enough" was thought provoking and insightful." The sessions were made available through Teams making the support accessible, flexible, and open to all staff across all our locations. Gemma also held a workshop focusing on mental health awareness to HR and the Crewing team, appointing them Wellbeing Champions, on hand to offer vital support and signposting.

It’s important not only for businesses to reflect on how they can provide consistent support for their staff, but also for all of us to keep mental health conversations going.
