To all our lovely customers.

I am posting to let you know that, sadly, due to a change in circumstances for both myself and Thea, we have very reluctantly decided that we will be closing Millhaven Ironing Services at the end of May.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept any more baskets other than those already booked in with collection arrangements in place.

We have tried extremely hard to find someone to take over the business, as we have so many valued customers like yourselves whose custom and friendships we have truly appreciated over the last few years. Unfortunately we have not been able find someone who would be able to do so, and maintain the high standards you have come to expect from us.

We sincerely apologise for the very short notice we have been able to give regarding our closure.
Thank you so much for all your support and loyalty over the years — it has genuinely meant a great deal to us all including Sophie.

Hello everyone.

Is this you? Has your Ironing pile grown over the holiday season or been hidden away while you had visitors and now taunting you from the corner…? Are you struggling to catch up with it?

Would you like to have like to have it taken off your hands and returned all beautifully ironed and either hanging on hangers ready to go back in your wardrobe or neatly folded depending on what it is?

We offer a free collection and delivery service within 3 miles of Gorleston or you can drop to us, whichever works best for you

We are reopening on Monday 5 January and welcome customers old and new. Call or message us on 07786 522261.

Hello!

This is a quick courtesy message to let you know that I will be closing for the holidays from Monday 22nd of December which will be the last day for collection or drop off to me. I have a few slots left this week and all ironing will be returned by 24th December.

We will reopen on Monday 5th of January 2026 and collections and drop offs can be booked from that date. The phone will be switched off over the holidays.

When we reopen I will be welcoming the lovely Thea to the team and she will be working alongside me to ‘iron out the creases so you don’t have to’!! This means you will see either one of us as we continue to expand the business.

Thank you so much for all your support over the past year which we really appreciated. Have a lovely break and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello everyone.

Are you struggling to catch up on your ironing? Is that ironing pile taunting you from the corner of the room…? Would you like it taken off your hands and come back all beautifully ironed and hanging up ready to put back away in your or your families wardrobe?

If so get in touch on here or by text or phone on 07786 522261 and let us iron out the creases so you don’t have to!

We offer a free collect and deliver service within 3 miles of Bradwell and further distances with a mileage charge. Your items are returned on hangers and plastic covers (unless otherwise requested) or folded depending on the item.

To our valued customers,

I hope you’re well. I wanted to let you know that, due to health reasons, I’ve made the decision to step back from my ironing business.

From now on, Wendy will be taking over Millhaven Ironing Services. She’s experienced, reliable, and I trust that you’ll be in very good hands with her.

Additionally, I’ll be starting a new job on the 4th of August, so I won’t be available for ironing going forward. I want to thank you for your support and loyalty over the last 11 years—it’s truly meant a lot to me.

Just a heads up!

I’ll be taking a break and will be closed from 19th May to 2nd June.

Last day for drop-offs will be Saturday 18th May, and I’ll be back to business on Monday 3rd June.

It’s that time of year again, this is just a courtesy message to let you know that we will be closed from Wednesday 18th December, we will not be accepting any baskets on this date.

We will be closed until the 6th of January 2025.

Dear Valued Customers,

We hope this message finds you well! We want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of our ironing service.

As a small business, we always strive to provide you with the best quality service at fair prices. However, due to rising costs of materials and operations, we find it necessary to adjust our pricing slightly.

Starting from 1st May 2024, our prices will be increasing from £24 to £25 per full basket and from £17 to £18 for a half basket.

We understand that changes like these can be inconvenient, but please know that we have carefully considered this decision at length to ensure that we can maintain the high standards you expect from us.

Thank you once again for your understanding and continued patronage. We look forward to serving you and keeping your clothes crisp and wrinkle-free, by ironing out the creases so you don’t have to.
