A key part of the recycling process with lithium batteries is the recovery of raw elements, such as nickel and cobalt which, as a finite resource, are extremely valuable in lithium battery production.

At Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions, our specialist workshop allows for our approved dismantlers to safely extract all the valuable elements for full recycling at approved production facilities.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 the recycling industry? – The sheer nature of the diversity of customer industry types we speak to on a daily basis. From Formula 1 teams, Battery manufacturers, car dealer groups, Aviation and battery manufacturers are just a few of them.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 waste 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮? – As we have one of the first commercially operating lithium recycling facilities operating in the UK I am keen to provide a solution to companies for the recycling of the mountain of end of life batteries that are going to arrive in the coming years.

SUEZ UK UK has acquired Cawleys, which LBRS is part of. The acquisition marks SUEZ’s entry into the lithium-ion battery processing market in the UK, with SUEZ already developing a battery recycling facility in France.
