5G LTE IS HERE!
After a long while seeing the promise of fast broadband speeds via the mobile networks using the new 5G LTE standard, we finally see that it has arrived in the UK. EE are the first to announce its availability in the four capital cities - London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast as well as Birmingham and Manchester and they will expand the service from here. The other networks are looking to introduce 5G in the next few months. Of course, there are not many devices available today that support 5G LTE and the price for the service is currrently high, however, we expect this to change during 2019 and 2020 such that the service will be much more widespread and a a good number of devices becoming available.
