We often hear that our stockists quickly sell out of our sympathy and thinking of you cards. It makes us incredibly proud to hear this and to know that we’re helping people find the words that can be the hardest to write.

Our stockists received an email last week with a little offer on these designs, but we’ve heard today that some of you need a bit longer, so we’ve extended the offer until next Monday.

If you haven’t seen the email, please email, DM or call us for details.

I’m still smiling after having a fantastic time at our industry awards, ‘The Henries’, last week. But I’m afraid I completely failed on two counts… I didn’t bring home a trophy (although it most definitely went to the right person, and the standing ovation was very well deserved!) and I was far too busy enjoying myself to take virtually any photos!

So, I’m sorry, but this is the best I can do to prove I was there 😂. I’ll try harder next year!

Huge thanks to the PG team for a wonderful event celebrating our industry, to Kelly and McDaniels Law for inviting me to join them, and to all my lovely friends there for making it such a great night! 🥂✨

thankyou

Happy Bank Holiday Monday! 🌸 Whether you choose to spend your day relaxing or ticking off a long list of jobs, I hope you have a great day!

I took these pictures last weekend at a garden centre and thought they would look great on the spring season cards I’m currently working on. 😊

Did you know that September is the most popular month for births in England and Wales?

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), September has the highest average number of daily live births, so with September just around the corner, now is the perfect time to make sure your shelves are stocked for all those new arrivals!

Massive congratulations to all the students (and parents!) who have now received their exam results and can finally celebrate their achievements before moving on to their next adventure.

We didn’t know how today would go, but I’m so proud. I don’t think my son will mind me saying that he had some lovely surprises in that envelope, and I’m now spoilt for choice over which card to write and take home.

This week, he has smashed his GCSEs, passed his CBT motorbike test to get him to the apprenticeship in carpentry he’s just been offered, and generally made us very proud!

So, here’s my choice of cards… but let’s face it, he’s 16 and will probably be far more interested in the note inside with the King’s head on it! 😆

The revision books have been cleared away since May, but the wait is almost over. Thinking of all the teenagers and their parents with results-day anxiety this month. My son is waiting on his too, so we are well and truly in the same boat! It is easy to stress, but a piece of paper will never define their worth, their intelligence, or their potential. Here’s to celebrating, being proud and the next chapter.

We had amazing news last week! We have a second chance to join the Henry Cole Classic ‘Hall of Fame’!

We are through to the finals of The Henries for The Henry Cole Classic award, a truly prestigious award for ranges that have stood the test of time.

How fabulous to have got to the finals again. I can’t thank the judges enough for choosing us, I genuinely looked at the competition of shortlisted publishers, as well as the pictures from judges day and thought there was no chance we were getting through again this year. But wow we have… I’m blown away and thrilled to bits! So, thanks again to the judges but also to all our stockists and customers who keep choosing our ‘Flutter on the Breeze’ range and keep it going. We love designing these so as long you want them, we’ll keep creating more!

Roll on 1st October, really looking forward to celebrating with friends at the awards evening but even though the theme is Surf’s up… I will be leaving surf boards and wetsuits at home! x
