Apologies for the proud mum post but my daughter has just completed her art foundation course and we had a lovely evening last night at the private viewing. The work of all students was fantastic, so varied, talented and inspiring but it was also a wonderful surprise that Rosa won The Studentship Prize for her pathway. She has worked so hard and her work is beautiful, I’m so pleased she had this recognition from her lecturers 🥰

London on a beautiful sunny day is one of the most fabulous places to be, especially when meeting up with friends from art college over 30 years ago! We had lunch and a trip to the wonderful Sky Garden, high up on the 37th floor. We also picked up some juice and cake in Borough Market and found plenty of inspiration at the art galleries on the South Bank. Heading home now, already looking forward to the next time!

Finally finished the first big part of Christmas 2026! Products designed, printed, online, with agents, catalogue completed and orders are already in and ready for picking!

Wishing my son, his friends and all students starting their GCSE Art exams today the best of luck! Actually, I can’t think of anything better than spending 10 hours on a piece of art but maybe not under the pressure of exam conditions. Most people pack away the decorations before going back to work in the new year, start looking forward to longer, warmer days and put Christmas to the back of their minds. Well that’s not the case if your world revolves around greeting cards, it’s an all year round event. Planning, designing, loading onto websites, marketing, making up, packing, selling. 😅 Today I’ll be photographing so watch this space for more!
