We’ve loved working here over the last few weeks! Greg became part of the team asking loads of questions and having some banter with the guys. Smiles all round. 😊

👷‍♂️ Greg has spent the week making new friends with the workman from Addison Construction & Civils Ltd who have been working at Boldshaves Oast installing a new cess pit!

He’s been keeping a close eye on progress, and even borrowed one of their jumpers to really feel like part of the team!

~ T R E A T M E N T P L A N T ~

Last week we started work installing this sewerage treatment plant in Woodchurch.

The house has an existing treatment plant that has been failing for a number of years. We are now installing a new 35 person system, including some ancillary pumps and alarms.

The new system is being installed offline so that resident’s can continue to use bathrooms and kitchens, and we will have a short duration switch over to the new system, minimising disruption to the residents.

A great job so far by the team.

~ N E W B U I L D ~ E X T E R N A L S ~

This new build family home is really coming together nicely now.

We recently started the externals as we near the final stages of this awesome project.

Doffing its cap to Kent, with its square cut Kentish Ragstone sourced locally from Gallaghers and bringing a modern twist with the standing seam zinc oriel windows/dormers.

The new driveway, which is completely permeable, finished with Brett Alphablocks is looking fantastic……. Check out the mitred corners and sweeping curves…… precision!

🏡 B R O O K L A N D N E W B U I L D S 🏡

Here’s some update photos of the four new builds we are delivering in Brookland.

The first two plots are substantial and spacious four bed detached houses, with modern kitchens, bathrooms, solar panels , air source heat pumps and are built over three storey’s.

Each of these properties enjoys a family bathroom with two additional en-suites.

The gardens have porcelain paved patios and perfectly flat lawns with easy to maintain asphalt driveways.

~ N E W C L U B T O I L E T S ~

We recently completed the refurbishment of New Romney Bowls Club gentlemen’s toilets.

Although the gents toilets were already in good condition, they were dated and in need of an update.

The new room is ultra low maintenance, easy to clean and more in keeping with the rest of the clubs fantastic facilities.

Project managed by Zak, and built by plumber Dean and apprentice Harvey……. With a bit of help from Kev to skim the ceiling, Bay Carpets & Flooring for the new floor and wire_right_electrical for the electrics. 🤝 Thank you all for an excellent job.

Now onto the ladies toilets for a refresh! ✨

Some (almost) completion photos inside the first unit to be marketed at the old Royal Mail pub in Lydd.

Penny Red is a spacious three bedroom property with mega high ceilings, timber double glazed sash windows, large family bathroom, master bedroom with en-suite and a fantastic large living area that flows through nicely to the kitchen diner.

This property is real gem, the size inside is surprising. With the huge windows throughout, natural light bounces around even on a gloomy day.

~ G R E A T S T O N E P R O J E C T ~

This project we’ve been undertaking in Greatstone, perched on top of the sand dunes, is starting to look awesome.

What began as a reasonable two storey extension project has seen the house now reimagined almost entirely.

Our client has been fortunate to own the house for many years, making so many happy memories with family and friends. But it was time for a change, to make more of the space, but keeping its heritage as an art deco period property.

The view of the English Channel is far reaching, but this house has has an equally magnificent view across Romney Marsh from the front.

Our client has really thought about every last detail. Not just what it looks like, but how it functions for them as a holiday space. Making sure future generations will make many more happy memories here in Greatstone.

Here are just a few photos of progress inside.

The bathroom mirror cut neatly around the black aluminium porthole window in the master en-suite…… that is hot! A built in tiled bench in the shower and the expanse of glass. Even on a miserable bad weather day, this place is light!!

~ S T A I R S, L Y M P N E ~

Check out this fabulous staircase recently installed by Zak and Kieron in Lympne.

The stairs were fabricated off site by David Smith St Ives, to our clients precise design.

The immaculate installation was undertaken with care and consideration, from Zak’s initial precise design survey, to the neat under stair drawers mounted with push catches.

A staircase built to stand the test of time and in keeping with the style of the house.

Great job guys. 👏 👏
