🍃AIRING CUPBOARD DECLUTTER🍃

On Friday I started to help a lush lady who needed some help in her home. She wants various things decluttered and organised so I decided to start with her airing cupboard because I knew that once it was sorted then there would be space for various other things to eventually be kept in there.
She was amazing and got rid of loads of old bedding which freed up lots of space for when she next has a sort out and wants to pop some bits in there.
Slow and steady wins the race ❤️

🍃 MY MANTRA 🍃

My mantra has always been ‘ tidy home, tidy mind’ because for me that is absolutely true.
It’s most likely because I have raging OCD so for my mind to feel less like a washing machine spinning around at a million miles per hour, I need to have a clean and tidy home.
I find that way, I feel that a little bit of my brain can feel a teensy bit calmer and grounded.
I always tidy as I go and although I’m not constantly cleaning (my family will say that’s a massive lie though 🤣) if I see something needs cleaning then I do try and do it straight away.
Reading this back, I’m not actually convinced that I don’t spend all my time at home rushing around like a blue arsed fly tidying up after everyone…..this explains the constant state of exhaustion I live in 🤣

Right, we are going to ignore the fact that this photograph is four years old, but the harsh reality is I’m a bit of a hermit so I don’t go out very often and I spend most of my time looking like a tramp so we are just going to have to roll with this photo for a little longer.

I have a few new followers who fortunately for them don’t have the pleasure of knowing me in real life so I thought I would share a little bit about myself again.

I grew up in the sunny seaside town of Lyme Regis in Dorset and I come from a large fishing family 🐟

I have two children, an eleven year old daughter and a seven and a half year old son and I have been with my long suffering partner for 15 years next month 💙

I have been a cleaner for 24 years, but within that time I ran my friends’s embroidery company while she was off having my beautiful goddaughter and I dealt drugs within the town for eight years while I worked as a dispenser at Lloyds Pharmacy (all legal and above board!)
I absolutely love organising, decluttering and cleaning and because I have raging OCD (that’s a whole other story!) these things come naturally to me.
Through this page, I hope to be able to share some hints and tips on organising, decluttering and cleaning and because I am a little bit witchy, I will most likely throw some spiritual stuff into the mix as well just for good measure.

I headed down to Paignton today to do some organising for the lovely Rach
I tackled her bedroom drawers, cupboards and wardrobe and then gave the pantry a sort out with the help of Wilby who almost put me out of a job with his brilliant organising skills 💙🦖
