With the access to experienced carpentry and property maintenance. PHA prides itself on the individual concept of Caring for people IN their homes and Caring FOR their homes. This comes hand in hand in
helping people remain in their properties independently. This extra support, means we can help alleviate EARLY Care Home or Warden based care resettlement. This in turn not only means you can stay in your home longer but alleviates hefty financial burdens, losing your family home, savings and equity with astronomical fees. It could be that you are at the stage in your life where you require extra help, and we understand it is not always possible to rely on our family and friends every time to provide this. We at Purbeck Home Assist (PHA) can personally support your loved one or yourself, enabling you the freedom of remaining in your home. Unlike other at home support providers, we also extend our services to ensure your property and garden are maintained to your standards, should you wish, providing professional and broad ranges of property repair as and when required. We are extremely passionate about providing our support and offer one off hours or days, short term arrangements where existing support may have stopped (holiday/sickness), or even flexible monthly packages. We can plug the gaps too where you may have an existing Personal Care/nursing/social package in place but there are some hours in the day that need to be covered. Listed below are services offered.
>Home help and support - meal preparation, home support, all domestic chores including laundry, pet care/dog walking and all administrative tasks. PHA have helped clients save hundreds of pounds per year on bills where people may have remained with providers and have not had the capacity or time to switch.
>Dr/Dental/Medical appointments - made and where needed taken to appointments
>Shopping - this can be done by way of a shop and drop service, but if you would like us to collect you and join you in your shop that would be our pleasure to assist
>Transport and Trips out - for yourself and with your family or friends also can be accommodated if you would like to attend any social groups or trips to your favourite spots!
>Companionship and Welfare checks - we are here for you. We love community and recognise you are very much a part of that just as much as we and everyone else is. We can check in on you or your loved one, chat over a cuppa and ensure any ad hoc tasks that have cropped up are addressed.

>Property Maintenance - It can be extremely difficult and stressful to source a carpenter/handyman/plumber/builder . you may feel vulnerable of overwhelmed with all the choices and different price ranges available, and knowing who you can trust can be extremely stressful, and distressing if the wrong company is chosen. We take all this away from you and will take this work on ourselves using a PHA employed carpenter and handy man, and we will only ever use our trusted tradesman, all personally Project Managed by Purbeck Home Assist so you will always feel safe and confident. This is not an exhaustive list please do ask if there is anything else you have in mind.
