My daughter, along with hundreds of thousands of other students across the country, is about to embark on her 5-week journey of school exams, and it’s only natural that stress will tag along.
But how many of these students know that they can effectively use stress to excel in their exams?
Here are the 3 steps required:
1. Redefine stress: Begin by viewing stress as a challenge rather than a threat.
2. Embrace it as a motivational force that propels you to conquer your preparation, revision, and exams.
3. Adopt stress-coping strategies: implementing healthy coping strategies is essential for managing stress.
Here are some of my daughters’ suggestions:
• Maintain a detailed study schedule ✍
• Exercise regularly 🏃♀️
• Ensure you are getting enough sleep 🛌
• Relax by watching Netflix and chatting to friends 🎬
