A recent project at Rydal School, Colwyn Bay 👷‍♂️🏫

Our team recently completed the demolition of the former Science Block at Rydal School.

The works included a full soft strip, demolition of the building, removal of the slab layer and foundations, before processing the material on site and crushing it to 6F2 for reuse within the project.

A great example of how careful planning and material recovery can help minimise waste and keep resources in use on site. ♻️

A piece of industrial history, carefully dismantled. 🏭

Our latest case study looks at a recent project at the historic John Hargreaves Paper Mill, where our team was appointed to dismantle one of the UK’s last remaining steam-powered paper mill machines.

Working within a live industrial environment, the machinery had to be dismantled in situ, using specialist cutting techniques and engineered lifting operations to safely remove the individual components.

The project also delivered a significant environmental benefit, with more than 200 tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals recovered and recycled.
