The Meet the Members evening is designed as a gateway into DOLO - it's an easy first event for people who are new to DOLO and perhaps feeling a little nervous about walking into a room where they don’t know anyone.

There’s no awkward mingling and no pressure to make conversation. Instead, we use fun games and lighthearted activities to get everyone talking, laughing and feeling comfortable with each other.

By the end of the evening, new members have met, chatted and laughed with a variety of different people, which makes turning up to their next DOLO meet-up a lot less intimidating.

Thinking about joining DOLO? This Wednesday is a great time to do it.

We have a Meet the Members event happening on Wednesday evening, 30th September, at the fabulous Sutton Hall.

This is the perfect introduction to DOLO. It’s hosted by Hazel and designed especially for newer members - so chances are, most people arriving will be feeling the same; a little nervous, but intrigued.

If you’ve been thinking about joining DOLO and have no plans for Wednesday night, now’s a good time to take the plunge and secure your place.

There’s no cost to attend, and your first 14 days of DOLO are free, with no card details required. If it’s not for you, simply don’t subscribe when your trial ends.

Last night 7 of us camped out at New Leaf Forest in Eaton, Congleton.

We managed to avoid the rain, took a 6 mile cross country stomp that conveniently ended at the pub, shared home cooked dishes under the canopy of the trees, played 'guess the song' kazoos, and laughed and shared stories around the fire until the early hours.

Some of us had met before and for others it was the first time but by the evening you wouldn't have guessed it.

Thank you to all you happy souls that took a punt on this new experience and made the first DOLO camp a resounding success.

Big shout out to Martin Mallett for setting this up and for letting 2 of us sleep in his self constructed and utterly wonderful yurt.

The more thick skinned amongst us are up for a winter camp too (limited to 10 places to maintain the magic of the small group dynamic). Watch this space for announcements.

I’ve been doing a lot of listening, learning and tweaking over the last couple of months, and I’ve decided it’s time to make DOLO easier to join and easier to stick with.
