Project Complete | HGV Entrance – Newport 🚧🚛

We’re pleased to announce the successful completion of a new reinforced concrete HGV entrance in Newport.

This project involved the full construction of a heavy-duty access route, including extensive excavation, drainage installation, reinforced concrete pavement, kerbing, security fencing, and finishing works. Designed to accommodate high volumes of heavy goods vehicles, the new entrance provides a durable, safe, and efficient access solution for our client.

From the early stages of groundworks through to the final concrete pour, our team delivered the project with a strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail. The transformation from a challenging construction site to a fully operational HGV entrance demonstrates the expertise and commitment of everyone involved.

A big thank you to our site team, supply chain, and client for their collaboration throughout the project. We’re proud to have delivered another successful civil engineering scheme and look forward to supporting future developments.

Strong progress being made at Marshalls Newport on the new HGV entrance scheme.

Over the past few weeks, the team has successfully delivered a key phase of the works, including:
• Installation of a manhole over a tidal culvert
• Completion of all main drainage, including separator tank
• Duct installation across the site

This package presented a number of challenges, particularly working around existing infrastructure and managing ground conditions, but the team has maintained momentum and delivered safely and efficiently.

With these milestones complete, we’re now well positioned to move into Phase 2.
