The summer has been amazing, and now we are coming into the Autumn with the start of the 'ber' months. And as always, I have rounded up a list of events happening in Maidenhead this month. There's something for everyone - with family events, the arts, entertainment and more:

Oaken Grove play park is finally open, so we went over to take a look. There were plenty of families there which was nice to see, and the Tuk Shop was busy (it was even buy one get one free on slushies!)

Eva's feedback was, she thinks there is more there but the play equipment is smaller (which is good for smaller children) but she still enjoyed the big swing, the zip line and the cute trampoline.

Who's netwalking with us tomorrow?

This year we have done some brilliant walks at different areas of Maidenhead - including bluebell walks at Little Thrift Wood, butterfly walks at the Thicket and yellow flower fields at Furze Platt. There's always a mix of different people who come along, and it's a relaxed way to make new connections and get outside. And there's usually coffee (or ice-cream!)

Tomorrow for the first time, there will be a riverside walk - meeting on Ray Mill Island.

Join us for a free riverside netwalk on Friday 21st August, meeting on Ray Mill Island at 11am. We will do a circular route over the bridge to Taplow, then over the Maidenhead bridge and back to Ray Mill Island - for an optional drink or icecream. Children are welcome to come along.

What I have been up to this summer!

I took on a work experience student for three days, and in that time he filmed and edited his first Instagram Reel, interviewed two fab local business owners, and then he helped me to create some Face2Face Maidenhead mini magazines (featuring his interview) which we got printed.

It was great experience for me too - sharing some of my skills and creating an offline taster of my Face2Face Maidenhead website - all in just three days!
