Online this week, but the energy was still infectious! 👏

Quick question... have you ever seen an elephant floating down the River Thames? 🐘🌊

This week we learnt more about Cookham Waste & Removals, and we couldn't have picked a better week to hear Barry's presentation, given what his company had been transporting earlier in the week! It just goes to show that no two house moves are ever the same. In fact, Barry's team doesn't just move elephants... they also dispose of an incredible 26,000kg of dog poo every year! 🤯💩

What makes BNI Thames so special is that it's 20 like-minded business owners, all genuinely committed to helping one another succeed.

The result? Over £1,000,000 of business generated between members in the past 12 months alone. 💙

Now that's the power of relationships.

Excellent meeting yesterday morning!

A 6:30am start, but the room feels vibrant from the moment you step through the door!

Lizzie from Bizzie PA was our Member of the Month and stood up to share exactly why she achieved that recognition 👏

The importance of power teams and the ability to support one another through quality referrals is huge. Combine that with structure, purpose and proven results and you have a recipe for success.

We’ve also got some exciting socials in the diary over the coming months which everyone is looking forward to!

We’re now on the brink of passing £10,000,000 worth of business generated since launching! 🚀

6:30am meetings have their benefits... especially when it's this hot! ☀️

Another excellent morning with BNI Thames Maidenhead.

One of the biggest reasons our chapter continues to grow is the power of strong referral partnerships. Creating power teams means connecting like minded businesses that can naturally pass referrals to one another every single day.

This morning also saw our Network Leaders recognised for their hard work, but my favourite part of every meeting is always the Vice President's Report.

Week after week, seeing a seven figure sum of business passed between local business owners is incredible. It just goes to show what's possible when people genuinely trust each other, support one another, and put relationships before transactions.

It’s not every Friday that we get to meet twice in one day!

We’ve had a fantastic social evening, spending quality time with our families, enjoying great food, and sharing plenty of laughs together.

BNI is about so much more than our weekly meetings. It’s about building genuine relationships, supporting one another, and creating connections that can last a lifetime. Nights like these remind us that business grows through trust, friendship, and community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such an enjoyable evening. Looking forward to the next one!

We had a fab first meeting of the month last week where awards were given out for our top members of May.

In May we had
Lorraine pass £152,443 to fellow members
Wendy has the most referrals and 121s with fellow members

Ursha won Member of the month for all her contributions to the chapter and Lorraine won Best 60 second pitch!

To finish off this jam packed meeting we had Gev do his 10 min presentation on his business informing us about all the BR Heating and Plumbing.

Our next in person meeting is next Friday at Braywick Leisure Centre

Kicked off with a superb educational slot from James Ford, talking about the “Yellow Pages moment” the world is currently going through, and what businesses need to do to adapt, evolve and avoid being left behind. We all remember Blockbuster, right? 👀

A huge congratulations to Mr Greg Stanworth, who took top spot this week for TYFTB with an incredible £4,178! 🔥

Some brilliant social events coming up too, proving once again that we’re a networking group that works hard, supports each other and knows how to have a good time along the way! 🍻

Great networking is not just about referrals. It is about trust, relationships and getting to know the people behind the businesses.

What a brilliant in-person BNI Thames Maidenhead meeting today at Braywick Leisure Centre. 🙌

We had a fantastic 4-minute presentation from Wendy Perry of Face2Face HR, giving us a real snapshot of her story, her family, and the “why” behind the work she does supporting businesses with practical, people-focused HR advice.

We were also lucky to hear from the ever-wonderful Naomi Riches MBE, whose 10-minute presentation was inspiring, insightful and full of perspective on resilience, mindset and human potential.

This is what makes a strong local business community: people showing up, supporting each other and building relationships that lead to real opportunities.

We are always looking for great local businesses to join this fantastic chapter. We would especially love to meet bookkeepers, solicitors, website designers and architects.

🏆 BNI Thames Maidenhead takes the win!

Brilliant evening at the BNI Berkshire Karting Event at Absolutely Together Karting in last night.

There was strong competition from across the region, plenty of friendly rivalry, and some very serious racing faces on display. But in the end, confidence, driving ability and consistency won out on the day and BNI Thames Maidenhead came away with the trophy. 🏁

A great reminder that BNI is not just about weekly meetings. It is about building stronger relationships, creating trust, and getting to know other local business owners in a more relaxed and enjoyable way.
