Be part of the team...

The studio at Touch is busy and we are looking for a variety of inspirational structural designers including Junior, Middle Weight, and Senior Level candidates. Ideally, we require designers with excellent drawing, material and technology knowledge, and SolidWorks skills. A team player, you must be capable of seeing a project through from insight and innovation through to implementation.

Our UK office is based in Maidenhead in a stunning rural location but we offer flexibility and remote working is also possible.

Touch is a great agency to work for. As structural innovation partners, we work in all FMCG product categories and specialise in structural pack and product delivery innovation. 90% of our work focuses on helping brands deliver their products sustainably and we have some great global clients.

The Touch Design team was delighted to see the new bespoke packaging for the BOL power soup range launched in Tesco last week. We worked with the packaging innovation team at BOL foods to create a jar that not only looks great but is re-usable, now 100% recyclable, and 30% less plastic than the current pack even though it now holds 100grams more product.

Paul Brown - BOL Founder commented “We launched our fresh soup range in 2017. In 2020 we approached Touch about creating a new bespoke game-changing piece of packaging that would deliver on a number of project-specific demands including giving us much greater shelf stand out on a busy shelf and even better sustainability credentials. Touch has been an absolute pleasure to work with and we would recommend them to any FMCG company thinking about innovating their packaging within this space.”

Touch Creative Director – James Pryor said ‘It was great to collaborate with the BOL team. It was a fast-paced project that builds on the brand's playful character. Making the pack both spoon from and drink from also added some great versatility for the consumer too.”

The Touch Design team is delighted to see Ireland’s own Iconic Water Brand, Ballygowan has hit the shelves recently with a new bottle design created by Touch. Working in conjunction with the forward-thinking team at BRITVIC PLC, the new lightweight design and addition of nitrogen filling on the line means that it has achieved the 20% target average weight reduction across the range in addition to rPET - delivering on both design and function as per the brief.

The move is part of a drive for 100% sustainability across the business, under Britvic Ireland’s Healthier People, Healthier Planet Strategy.

James Pryor, Creative Director at Touch commented: “We are thrilled to see the launch of the new bottle design for Ballygowan. It was a great collaborative project with the Britvic team that underpins Ballygowan’s move to target 100% sustainability”

Kevin Donnelly, Managing Director, Britvic Ireland, commented: “The relaunch of our brand captures the natural spirit of Ballygowan. This new campaign tells our origin story, from the air to the earth of Ireland Ballygowan is the most sustainable water brand in the Irish market and we are incredibly proud of that.”
