✨ FOR SALE TODAY: GEORGIAN SILVER DATING BACK TO 1738

Join Dawsons' Jewellery and silver expert, Claire Maloney, as she takes a closer look at one of her highlights from today's 'Fine Jewellery, Watches & Silver' auction.

This remarkable George II silver Spirit Kettle, made by Edward Vincent in London in 1738, is a superb example of 18th-century craftsmanship.

Of elegant globular form, it features a leaf-capped spout, intricate floral and shell decoration and a beautifully pierced stand embellished with scrolling foliage and masks.
