On Friday I collected my new glasses from Opticians in Hythe, with varifocal lenses. My eyes have never felt so good. 👓

Putting them on made me think about how many business owners are running their business with blurred vision. They're busy every day and working hard, but they aren't completely clear on where they're heading or what will get them there.

Once your vision is sharp, everything gets easier: decisions, priorities, and saying no to the things that don't matter.

This week has been one of those weeks that reminds me why I do what I do.

As part of my work as I’ve spent time sitting down with some brilliant across and , helping them think about visibility, consistency, and — ultimately — how they get and keep more customers.

That’s included meeting :

On the surface, the conversations are about marketing, customers, and growth.

But underneath that, there’s often something else going on.

Even successful business owners — the ones grafting every day — can quietly suffer from imposter syndrome. That nagging voice that says “Am I doing this right?” or “Everyone else seems to have it figured out.”

Sometimes what makes the biggest difference isn’t a flashy tactic.
It’s having someone alongside you to:

sanity-check your thinking

reassure you that you’re not missing something obvious

help you focus on what actually matters

and remind you that you can do this

Local businesses are the backbone of our towns. They deserve proper support, clear thinking, and practical help — not noise or jargon.

As we reflect on 2026, we’re incredibly proud of the clients we’ve supported throughout the year.

For many, this was a year of uncertainty—moments where the path forward wasn’t always clear, where new habits needed to be built, and where goals felt challenging to reach. Our role was to stand alongside our clients during those moments: helping them find clarity, create structure, and take consistent action toward what mattered most.

Despite it being a difficult year for some, we’ve seen real growth. Clients gaining confidence in their direction. Clearer targets. Better decision-making. In many cases, we’ve helped free business owners from the day-to-day of working in their business, enabling them to step back and start working on their business instead.
