Established in 1966 by John Harrison, Harrison Hire & Sales (HHS) began trading as a hirer of agricultural equipment in Settrington, North Yorkshire. With the widespread demand for economically priced pressure cleaning equipment, HHS soon became suppliers of hot and cold pressure washers, becoming a KEW distributor in 1976. As HHS increased in stature as a professional industrial cleaning equipmen

t supplier in North Yorkshire the decision was made to expand our “serviceable area” and to open a new branch in Kingston-Upon-Hull in 1982, enabling customers in Humberside, East Yorkshire & Lincolnshire to take advantage of the same professional service that our existing customers in North Yorkshire had been benefiting from for years. In 1992 HHS, along with a number of other influential cleaning equipment suppliers, HHS became one of the founding members of the EDGE Group. The purpose of this group was to offer the end user a quality product for an affordable price that was supported by a nationwide dealer network & service backup. With the benefit of having a vast range of quality EDGE products that were tailor-made for the UK market, demand dramatically increased, this allowed HHS to expand further and open a new depot in Leeds, serving West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire & Lancashire. This has allowed a footstep into the 'shop-front' avenue, we have expanded our Industrial and Commercial ranges of cleaning equipment into the Home & Garden sector, and continue to supply Ryedale with the mower and chainsaw/strimmer sales and service that Campbells was already renowned for.

As the sole importer of the iteco brand in the UK since 2012, we have increased the iWash footprint consistently year after year for the past 14 years.

We are now at a level where we have had to make the decision on how we continue to provide the same level of service, support, care, and repair for all our UK based customers.

This is a varied role including:
