Zetechtics was honoured to be invited to the 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, an annual event which brings together Brazil’s energy decision-makers during the week of Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). Organised by 𝐙𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, a great night was had by all and an important evening for us to meet current and prospective customers and to hear first-hand the positive outlook for the region. Brazil continues to be one of our must successful markets and this event also gave us the opportunity to discuss Zetechtics products and capabilities to key stakeholders face to face.

We are delighted to announce that Stuart Brown has joined Zetechtics as our Strategic Business Development Manager, reporting directly to the Board and playing a key role in driving the company’s international growth and diversification.

Stuart brings over 30 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, combining technical engineering expertise with commercial and business leadership. Throughout his career, he has successfully connected complex engineering capabilities with strategic market opportunities, delivering value and growth for organisations across the sector.

At Zetechtics, Stuart will assist the Board in shaping and executing our global growth strategy, strengthening our position in well intervention while driving strategic expansion into renewables, defence, and nuclear markets. He will be instrumental in developing international partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and aligning our innovative technologies with the evolving needs of the global energy landscape.

We are thrilled to welcome Stuart to the team and look forward to the experience and strategic insight he brings as we enter the next exciting phase of Zetechtics’ international expansion.

It is with heavy heart that we learnt this week of the death of Mike Cu***ng who was one of Zetechtics co-founders in 1993.

In the early days of Zetechtics Mike’s skill set in overcoming problems both operationally and technically were used to the utmost as we built a niche in sub-sea control. Creating a business from scratch is a difficult process with an inherent shortage of time, money & resources and few get to succeed as well as Mike did.

The physical design for the original Jupiter control system and the highly successful Jupiter Lite were very much Mike’s concept. This, together with the modular electronics and software package designed by John Charlesworth and Tim Overfield, directly led to the award of the Queens Award for Enterprise – Innovation in 2003.

Mike’s hard work and sense of humour made Zetechtics a great place to work with laughter ever present, particularly during his many attempts to teach spell-checkers the finer points of Aberdonian English.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
