Mrs Susan Plevin-How one woman set a landmark legal precedent against insurance companies!

One woman’s landmark legal case could mean you can claim some serious financial compensation.

Originally, Mrs Susan Plevin was sold a PPI policy to cover a secured loan all the way back in 2006.

As it turns out, the company Mrs Plevin took the policy out with was treating her unfairly!
Not only did they fail to disclose how much they were earning from the commission of Mrs Plevin’s PPI policy, but also how high the percentage of commission was attached to her policy!

Mrs Plevin had been misled!

The UK Supreme Court ruled that the failure by the lenders to disclose the large commissions they received from the PPI premiums was a textbook case of an unfair relationship.

A new PPI ruling could mean that you are in line for some financial compensation!

A recent landmark ruling, dubbed ‘Plevin’, means that consumers can claim back on high levels of commission on their past PPI premiums, just as long as you weren’t told about them prior!

In order to be eligible for a Plevin claim, your PPI premium must match the following:

1) You took out the credit the PPI was sold with on or after 6 April 2007.
2) You took out the credit the PPI was sold with before 6 April 2007, and it was still running on or after 6 April 2008
