Nicole Murphy Bridal Hair Studio is an award winning hairstyling brand specialising in luxury bridal hair, festival styles, modern updos, glam waves, event styling, photoshoots and hair education. With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Nicole has styled weddings across the UK and internationally, helping clients feel confident and look their best for life's biggest moments.

Meanwhile Spotlight June. ✨

This month, we are shining a light on and at . ☕🍪

Rachel has been running The Palms Bakery at the yard since 2020, creating colourful, unique celebration cakes that are almost too good to eat. Alex joined her as a helping hand in 2022, and last year they took on the coffee pod, bringing Palms Coffee to life.

Since then, they have been keeping the yard well caffeinated, serving up incredible bakes and adding even more warmth to the community.

Pop by for a coffee, try their fan favourite NYC choc chip cookies, and keep an eye out for their themed drink specials. ✨

A few months ago I pitched for my first ever job - a community arts commission to make a portable mural, inspired by Burnley's favourite books 🩷📚 and reader - I got the job!
What followed was weeks of workshopping across the town with kids + families, endless chats + doodles + mind maps - I even ventured into a high school which was not for the faint of heart 😂 and then I took all my knowledge away and drew for 14 hours, often deep deep into the night, to produce this 🥹😍🩷
My concept - 'we all open our books in the same town, but we all end up in totally different places, and how special is that?' 🩷🌍🚀✨ I adore reading and working in reading spaces are some of my most treasured jobs, so this piece feels like a real love letter to reading as a kid and the books that shape us.
This was the hardest I've ever pushed myself, and such a labour of love, but my pride when it was revealed last night was off the scale. I did that 🥹🥹🥹
Big thank you to for believing in me always and giving me the job 🥰 to the amazing for her glorious pieces which will forever be entwined with mine 💕 and to for giving my work a home for life.
Moral of the story? Go for that job, send that pitch, throw your name into the ring. Who knows what will happen? 😉💕🙌🏼

What Treehouse have built inside their unit is a perfect example of what these spaces are all about. Adapting, experimenting and making things happen with creativity at the centre of it all.

Sometimes limitations push the best ideas forward and this lot prove exactly that. There really is not much they cannot do in their space. 🔥📦
