🌈 HALIFAX COMMUNITY PRIDE 2026 🌈

What an absolutely amazing event today at Halifax Community Pride! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The energy was electric from start to finish. The atmosphere, the people, the entertainment and the incredible sense of community made it a Pride to remember.

Our C&D Security team loved being part of the event, helping to keep everyone safe while being right in the middle of such a positive and welcoming celebration. A massive thank you to the organisers, volunteers, performers and everyone else who worked incredibly hard to make today happen. ❤️

Events like Halifax Community Pride are so important. Pride is about much more than one day or one celebration. It is about visibility, equality, acceptance and creating a space where everyone can be themselves without fear or judgement.

Seeing the community come out in such numbers and show their support proves exactly why local Pride events matter. They deserve to be supported, protected and celebrated year after year.

Security Team Member – Build to Rent (BTR) Residential Security
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £30,000 per year
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts

C&D Security Ltd is looking for professional, customer-focused Security Team Members to join our growing Build to Rent (BTR) residential team in Birmingham.

This is far more than a traditional security role. As the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, you will play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming and well-managed living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing a visible and professional security presence throughout the development.
* Welcoming residents and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
* Managing access control for residents, guests and contractors.
* Conducting regular internal and external patrols of the building and grounds.
* Responding to incidents including anti-social behaviour, fire alarms, welfare concerns and emergencies.
* Monitoring CCTV systems and maintaining accurate incident records.
* Carrying out health and safety checks and reporting maintenance issues.
* Receiving and managing parcel deliveries for residents.
* Liaising with emergency services, property management teams and contractors when required.
* Building positive relationships with residents to ensure they feel safe and supported within their community.

What We’re Looking For:

* Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Professional appearance and attitude.
* Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Good written and verbal English.
* Previous experience in residential security, concierge, hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential.

What a fantastic day at Oldham Pride! Our team had an amazing time being part of such a wonderful event, filled with celebration, community and Pride. 🏳️‍🌈

We are looking for reliable, confident and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team working within some of Manchester’s busiest nightlife venues.

Positions Available:

Full Time
• 40+ hours per week

Part Time
• Around 24 hours per week

Rate of Pay:
Up to £15.00 per hour depending on experience and venue.

Requirements:
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Smart appearance and professional attitude
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Previous experience preferred but not essential
• Must be reliable, punctual and able to work within a team
• Strong customer service skills alongside venue safety awareness
