Who is vulnerable to Modern Slavery?

Anyone.

Though, some are more at risk than others because of: Poverty, Social or Health Conditions, Age, or Immigration status.

Victims of Modern Slavery are often, though not always, subject to abuse, threats of violence and/or punishment.

There is no Typical victim of Modern Slavery.

FACTS:
There is estimated to be ⬆️ of 13,000 people held in Slavery in the UK today

>100,000 people, in the UK, are victims of Modern Slavery

It is estimated that 50m people, worldwide, are victims of Modern Slavery

⬆️ 20m people are in forced marriages

⬆️ 25m people are used in forced labour; of these most are exploited within Private Sector working

1️⃣ in 4️⃣ / 25% of victims of Modern Slavery, globally, are Children

Circa. 99% of S*xual Exploitation victims are Women and Girls, in the commercial s*x industry
